Portraiture 

Portraiture - oil pastels, chalks, pencils, printmaking on paper.

Frida Kahlo’s study of personal identity inspired Year 2 Portraiture. Using mirrors, students drew their own faces, giving consideration to proportion and individuality.

Sunshine Pillows

Students have studied Claude Monet and the Impressionist artists’ investigation into colour and light. Year 2 drawings were inspired by imaginary landscapes. Students hand stitched their pillows using overcast stitch.
